They would poop all over the roof and the cars. We tried a few other methods like the gel and the tape but we found them too messy, they didn't work or we were concerned that our dog would ingest(the gel) the product. We put these up the other day and so far we have not had 1 bird in our yard. The disks are nice looking and they were easy to assemble. It was pretty windy yesterday and all of them have stayed put so we are very pleased. We are going to get a few more for our camp as we have issues in the summer with seagulls and birds hitting our picture window.
