Some may think this an overkill.Used the original rear fixing on each side and drilled a separate hole with a 13mm head bolt.With the mesh sides you have to load from the rear, which is fine when hitched, but if loading in the garage the trailer tips up with anything heavy at the rear as you try to load. Adding these prevents that issue so now nice and easy and stable to load.Also I want to use the trailer under a tarp to cook on so a level rear surface helps.As a side effect you can avoid the need for a jack if you have a jockey wheel. Drop the nose, extend the corner steady on the side you need to change. Lift the tow hitch and lock the jockey wheel. The side with the prop is now off the floor.Simple, effective and reasonable priced ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Sturdy and well made *by A***Y on 26 February 2020* I bought these for my Erde 122 trailer. I just needed to drill a couple of holes in the trailer and buy some M10 bolts, nuts and washers to fit them.They prevent the front end of the trailer from flipping up when loading heavy things into my trailer when it’s unhitched from the car. They’ll also come in handy if I have to change a wheel on the trailer.I store them inside my trailer when on a journey because I’m aware that if they were to drop while moving they could cause a lot of damage to the trailer as the trailer frame (where they are bolted to) could be classed as somewhat flimsy.I wish that I’d bought the ones with metal hoops welded to the top instead as I could have used hooks as a secondary safety measure to secure them to the side of my trailer when raised up and just left them on permanently. The clamps that come with the posts are probably more than sufficient to hold the posts in place during a journey but maybe I’m a bit too OCD when it comes to safety. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Value for money *by A***C on 31 December 2023* These are value for money but you get what you pay for. That said, I have installed them to stabilise a 12' trailer so I was asking a lot of them.
