I purchased Ridgid Genuine OEM AC840086 18V 2AH Hyper Lithium-Ion Single Battery by Ridgid. My son has been using it since Christmas morning and has had no complaints. He loves Rigid products because of their warranty. **Q: what kind of warranty does this product have?** A: So if you buy it from Amazon, there is no warranty, if you buy it from Home Depot, and register it within either 30 or 90 days, you get an unlimited lifetime warranty. Anything breaks? They cover shipping, and you ship it to them, they fix it for free, and send it back to you. They can't fix it, or it costs too much to fix it? They'll just send you the newest version. Best warranty service ever, but you MUST buy it thru home depot.
