I'm thinning in the crown area not terribly so but enough to see a little scalp and this covers that beautifully. I use a little hairspray on top to set it. Definitely would recommend. I use the medium brown shade which I believe would work on just about all colors including blond. I had an empty competitors bottle that I used to refill with this product.
