Instead of giving a lesson on heads (after we were already tasked to draw heads 20+ pages earlier), he says “copy each these heads [circles with x’s on them] exactly.”Then more “copy X exactly” with a page of very crude shapes with gesture lines on them.Then we get lessons that outright say “copy every picture in this chapter.Then it ends.The rest of the book are detailed drawings of heavyset and old people with very prominent genitals. Also a fully naked man showing you his penis with stretched legs and rubbing his chest hair as a chapter introduction picture. I don’t mean a drawing of that, a photograph of a bearded, middle aged man rubbing his chest hair as he kneels full wide legs on the floor. This is not given as something to draw either, nor is there any warning. It’s just the picture that introduces one of the chapters in the middle of the book.Ever want to know what the vaginas of middle aged, 200+ lb women look like? Don’t worry, eviston not only has you covered but he certainly adds a lot of line weight to the genitals of his drawings. Early on in the book he gives a step-by-step drawing (the ONLY step-by-step drawing I can tell of any detail in the whole thing) of a flabby, cellulite covered woman and the first detail he draws on top of the construction lines is her vulva and then pubic hair.I wish I was joking about all of this, but sadly I am not.
