As a crafter I've gone through a few Guillotines over 20yrs all well known makes and never buy the same one twice.I did a lots of searching and research on Guillotines this time and this one came up a lot also I liked all the feedback, there is no negativity here from me.It's great value item, light weight but sturdy enough to work with. The slider tab is a bonus for accuracy.I picked this size for a change from the normal smaller/slimline ones and I'm not disappointed. Just picking up and moving it, your hand can easily touch the blade edge even when it is closed. But it's sharpness is essential for cutting. Accuracy in the cut is a problem as the document plate ends at the blade with the document dangling over the edges, and without clear vision under the blade you can't see how much is being cut. It is trial and error.
