On the front of the outside packaging, it shows it having a heat/spicy index right between mild and medium. I would hate to see what they call HOT! I have had hotter/spicier, but I would AT LEAST consider this between medium and hot. Cleared my sinuses. LOVED THE FLAVOR MIXTURES and it was actually better than I have had in some restaurants and tasted fresh. PACKAGING/COOKING CONVENIENCE - JUST follow the directions carefully. Just a few steps, but important to follow re how to prep, easy though. Cooks in 90 secs and I let it sit about a minute. You do need to really stir to mix in all ingredients evenly. QUANTITY - For ME, it was a nice little lunch. If you're used to having a LOT of food for lunch, you might want two. ONE was plenty for me and FILLING. COST - OK was on sale, but I would pay regular price. Quality and quantity, plus having something DIFFERENT, well worth it to me. Also worth noting is, you do not need a microwave to make these. It sure does make things easier, but you can prepare the noodles with just hot water as well by covering and letting sit for a few. Overall very satisfied, it tasted much better than the 2 minutes of preparation would have me expect. I see myself purchasing more of these and trying other Annie Chun foods. I'd consider buying it again.
