## Description

Get creative making healthy, home-cooked meals with the help of the easy-to-use Elite Gourmet 8.5 Qt. Slow Cooker. It features convenient low, high and keep- warm settings. An 8.5 quart oval removable stoneware pot that nicely accommodates anything from vegetarian stew, grandma's pot roast, soups, casseroles, curries and more. The super-sized 8.5 Qt. stoneware pot is huge and due to its oval shape, you can slow cook those extra-large cuts of meat ensuring there is always enough to go around. The appliance delivers consistent, even heat, while its clear tempered-glass lid traps in moisture and nutrients for delicious results and allows easy viewing of the cooking cycle. Attractively housed in a festive red with black accents, it is a great addition to any kitchen. PLEASE NOTE: The initial 15 minutes of use may result in minimal smell and smoke. This is normal and harmless and comes from the protective substance applied to the heating elements during manufacturing.

Review: Holds a TON - This is the biggest crockpot ever! I used it for a party and it worked great. The corners got a little hot faster than the middle but with every new cooking tool there is a learning curve to best use. Make sure to frequently stir your dishes when cooking on high. Overall very satisfied.
Review: Great product - The temperature is just right. My daughter has 7 people in her family, so I gave this as a christmas present. She absolutely loves it. The size is just right. It is very easy to clean. Great value for the money. The lid fits perfectly. I would buy this again.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Where is it made?**
A: It is manufactured in China. However, the company that designs them is an American company who made small appliances (I think) it was for Pillsbury for 25 years. You can look it up on line.

**Q: How long does it cook on slow and on high? Is there a timer for each setting?**
A: There's warm, low and high. No timer so as long as it's on it will cook. Low is more like medium low.

**Q: I just received my new crock pot, the lid doesn't seem to be tight or sealed. Does anyone else have the same issue?**
A: My lid is too small for this size. It splutters a lot when cooking. Got my table and floor wet and also splashed me with hot water. Unless they can send me a tighter lid, I will be sending this back.

**Q: Does this model have a rubber gasket/seal around the lid?**
A: Seal, it's a pretty great crock pot. Runs a little warm though.
