As it’s claimed it takes a larger laptop for future laptop upgrades and larger fan it keep things cooler and more quietly. The foam is exactly the same, The bases are the same sizes so I don’t know why it say it can take a 19” laptop. Now, the fan is different. After testing I can confirm the Gt600 is a bit louder than the Gt500 at full speed. I have a 16” MSI vector with intel 12980hx cpu , 4080 gpu, 64gb ram and 2 ssd m.2 These coolers fit perfectly for this laptop, I would recommend flip your laptop over so you can see vents and position to foam over as a trial fit so you know roughly where to sit laptop on the cooler. Tested coolers on the same game at max setting in 4K Both coolers performed very well. Temps are not much different between the two coolers. I would say the same. So my take on this is, if your going to buy one and you want to spend least as possible, go for the Gt500 v2.
