Review: Sounds so good - These speakers are amazing and the price point is unbeatable. Installed these into the front dash speaker boxes of a 1992 4Runner. These were super easy to install. Just had to use a razor blade to cut off some small pieces of plastic blocking the speakers from sitting flat. Overall great speakers

A: No they are not waterproof

A: It's about 3/8 inch

**Q: Will these be fine to be powered by just head u it or would I likely need an amp?**
A: Yes they sound good depending on the power of your deck.  They sound good with a double din, but if your running a single deck, the sound maybe kind of weak.  You can run a small amp to power these up.
