First off, I bought the 'brown' version, size 'M'. It fits great. (I am 5' 6", 170 lbs, with an athletic build.) From the photos, I expected the jacket to be a dark, sandy brown. When I first received the jacket, I thought it was an almost olive green. I was in artificial office lighting. Then, I took it over to a window with natural light and the color shifted to something like a cocoa brown. Like some other reviewers, I am a little disappointed in the fabric; I expected to look and feel more like a distressed suede or doeskin. The fabric is not far off, but it does have a sheen to it that I don't like. However, the jacket itself is very nice. It doesn't feel cheap, and I can see how it would probably look like I imagined in different lighting. Like I said, it's interesting. I will still wear it, because it looks nice.
