It smelled so bad I started getting a little nauseous. It reminded me basically of a horse paddock or animal farm, just stinky stinky poo. I know that it's natural and if you don't have my ridiculously sensitive sense of smell then maybe you will love it. I just remember using a henna product back in the day that smelled like sour burned leaves and the smell stayed on me for weeks. So no way was I going to go through that with this. Luckily I only tried it on a little piece of my hair and not my whole head so hopefully the smell will go away. Also if you're buying this kit you will need your own gloves and after use conditioner or oil as it just comes with the powder. No stir sticks or anything.
