The residue of glue left by duct tape on hard plastic is one of the worst substances to remove. Painter's Pal did not work well so I tried LiquiFix Degreaser along with a paint scraper. After soaking in for a minute, it took the goo right off without damaging the plastic. I have a child who suffers Asthma. and finally, this weekend I used it. Worst degreaser, it smells pretty bad like chemical smell. I used on my stove and oven last Saturday, today is Wednesday and still lingers this awful chemical smell from using this. my whole family started coughing, and the oven was fuming the smell of this LiquFix Degreaser. I have tried everything to get rid off of this smell and nothing is helping. Thanksgiving is next week. I do not know what am I going to do? because I cannot cook in the oven and having this chemical smell lingering inside the oven and home. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars It cleans impossible to remove biodegradable hydraulic oil that has dried to a sticky grease. *by R***E on Reviewed in the United States on December 30, 2019* I tried cleaning A hydraulic power pack that used environmentally / biodegradable hydraulic oil - unfortunately I had a leaking how pressure tank hose and a leaking gasket under the filler / tank access plate - I have owed this power pack 15+ years and decided after all these years to clean it up and locate the leak by almost dismantling the top cover and exposing the filler / access plate and the hoses. The oil spilt over the years of leaking had crept everywhere and hardened - I tried everything (thinners / carb cleaner / a scraper and eventually in desperation a pressure washer (cold 3500psi/5 GPM) and after all this it didn’t look like I even improved it at all - the covering dust (stuck to the grease) was mostly still there. I sprayed Liquifix degreaser as a last resort and rubbed a spot with my finger and saw it was wiping off so I let it set for 5 min - broke out the pressure washer again and it was like magic the difference. I could even clean my stained hands with hardly any effort (hand soap and orange sandy hand cleaner did almost nothing to clean my hands). This is an amazing product - but it really does have a smell - I worked outside but could still smell it a bit - its a small price to pay - was hoping I could get it more easy than online - thanks - this bottle was a sample that I got from these guys in Tampa - Wonderful product - Thank you.
