This has turned into my kids paddle now as I upgraded, but there is no grit on the face so no ball control with these in terms of any kind of spin. The grip is actually quite comfortable though and the paddle is light. You can definitely get through with these for a long time but they are by no means top of the line. The bag is nice ad the balls seem okay. Overall, if you want a cheap set to play with a partner or to have an extra, this is just fine.
