Works. I installed one cable to display port and the other to a USB (to power it) and connected the monitor cables while the computer was on and no signal to the monitors. You need to install with power off, then start the computer and it will work.

### ⭐ Steer Clear and Do Not Buy

This product literally was bought February 6, 2026. It is now April 20,2026. Starting from April 10 this product started making the two monitor I had plugged in flicker periodically when trying to game or do anything productive. It is not a driver issue or anything like that cause it affects only these two monitors. I have a 4k@144hz + 1080@144hz. It had been working fine till now. The fact that it barely worked for a Year+ tells me that anyone interested should steer clear.
