Of course my daughter has been exposed to lice. She has been going to pre school and day care since she was a babe. She's currently in kindergarten and all those kids play and hug and all those things kids do and lice has been reported a few times a year. I use the "spray and play"by the same brand on her winter coats and hats and use this de tangler fairly regularly ( every other day or so) and have had no problems while her classmates have occasional outbreaks. The detangler works great to help comb through her golden curly locks and smells more herbal than chemical, which I like.
