Not had the need to put into use so cannot report on its effectiveness. I bought it as I had noticed the use by date had expired on the unit that came with the car when new. Although branded differently from the original unit it is a direct replacement and fits into the pump unit without a problem. These are expensive but should not to be confused with the stand alone canisters available in motor accessory outlets. It is important to check all dimensions and outlets on the existing unit to ensure compatibility.

needed this to replace the sealant in my kit that went with the car, better price than the garage and equally good.

Essential to have this in case of a puncture. Ridiculous that newer cars have this 'mickey mouse' item instead of a proper spare wheel. Quite expensive. Will only know if it works when needed for a puncture, so only 4 stars.
