Review: Nice little air compressor - My 20-gallon compressor was showing some age, and rather than get another one that size, I thought about what I use a compressor for, which was adding a little air to my tires, and blowing out DustBuster filters with a blowgun. It does both these tasks pretty well. It's light enough to carry and surprisingly quiet compared to my old one that's uncomfortably loud. One surprise was that I couldn't use my existing 3/8" air hose. I had to get 1/4" fittings. It doesn't have the oomph for anything big and wouldn't fill my emergency spare from 40 to 60 psi without kicking back on. I found a hex-head screw dangling from one of the slots in the bottom and removed it by taking off the plastic cover. I checked to see where it might have gone, but it appears all the screws are in place. All in all, it does what I wanted it to, so I'm a happy camper. Ambient noise was 45 db so this guy is very quiet. My old compressor was horizontal so the vertical tank takes much less space. I prefer the 10 gallon tank because it builds pressure rapidly. The 20 gallon would take twice as long. If I ever need a larger tank, I can add my old one. I picked this because of two reasons. 1. specs are excellent 2. I'm buy from the manufacturer in the US. I have a chance of getting parts if I have trouble. Most other compressors in this price range are private label and parts seem to be a problem. I'll run it a bunch over the next week and update if I have trouble. Update: I used it with an impact wrench and all is good. BTW: the motor & possibly the compressor pump is made in China. I'm still glad I didn't buy from a box store. Look up emac & you'll see they are major players in compressors. Update: It's now May 28, 2023 and I still love it. One thing is that it is a 10 gallon not 20 as the title says. The model number has 10 toward the end. I haven't gotten to use it much but I love the size.
