Review: Perfect substitute for Ghost pivot mount - For all you bikers out there this makes a superb substitute for the Ghost Pivot mount (now discontinued). I have mine stuck upside down on the underside of my Trident 660 and due to the genuine 3M red sticky pads it's just as secure as original Ghost pads. The mechanism of the pad base plate and sliding locking mount plate work well and are smooth. The rubber "bung" that pushes down into place really feels secure and prevent accidental disengagement of the two clips that secure them together. Yes ok it doesn't have quite the same low profile of the Ghost pivot mount but as that was discontinued I had to try something. After a couple of weeks and 200 miles there is absolutely no sign of movement, looseness or anything untoward.
