How thick is the tile?** A: This is a man made material, but is also quite durable. I have used it as a backsplash for my bathroom vanity since July 2014, and it continues to remain on the wall with only the self-adhesive. The tile is 0.2 inches thick. **Q: Can you use grout with this product to give it an authentic feel?** A: NO...it is too thin and if the moisture in the bathroom is high which is where I put it it also falls off, so I have applied adhesive to keep it in place. It may respond differently in another environment. It really looks good in my celtic design scheme.
