Review: Very Happy With It - Most importantly, it makes great rice every time. It isn't too big or too small - just the right size (3 cups). Has pretty much any feature you would ever need in a rice cooker. The hard-boiled egg function works perfectly as well. Very easy to clean. The display is a dark red which I really prefer to super bright displays some appliances have. Extremely easy to use. Very solid purchase that doesn't break the bank. Very happy with this purchase.
Review: Where has this been all my life - I am 32yrs old and in high school I would eat rice every single day because I needed the carbs for sports. After high school I continued eating brown rice pretty much every day as well, but it got hard to cook, so I started getting the packets that you just heat in the microwave 90 secs and you're done and while that is quick, convenient, and easy, it was a little concerning microwaving something in plastic and eating it essentially everyday for over a decade, so I started trying to make my own but boiling the water and making sure the heat doesn't get too high and boil too much or boil over was annoying. Well, I enjoy anime, and one thing I see regularly is rice cookers, so I looked into it, found this one, and gave it a shot, and it is amazing. No it isn't instant or 90sec and you are eating, but I put in the rice, then the water, push the brown rice setting and start and when it finishes it is perfect. I don't know how they do it but I love this thing. I also make 8 treasure congee with the porridge setting, and it took 2 tries playing with the amount of water(not the cookers fault the recipes fault) and now I can make perfect 8 treasure congee to eat for breakfast. I haven't tried any of the other setting, but for just cooking brown rice this thing is worth its weight in gold. Clean up so far has been extremely easy, I wash the 3 removable pieces(the humidity catcher thing, the piece on the inside of the lid, and the bowl) everytime I use it and really the bowl is the only thing that gets "dirty", but even after letting congee sit and stick to the sides of the bowl, it's really easy to clean. The easiest way is to while it is still warm get everything out of the bowl, use a towel to remove the bowl cause it will still be hot, set it in the sink and run cold water in it and in less than a minute it is already cooled off enough that you can touch it and run your hand along the inside cleaning anything that didn't come off in the initial rinse. I will get so much use out of this thing. UPDATE: I've been using this for rice like always and still amazed, but recently I tried to "boil" eggs, and it is amazing. I still have no idea how it works but somehow it is perfect. When I boil eggs(just like with rice) it is hard to keep the temp at the right level, the water boils, then boils over, then it isn't boiling at all. Boiled eggs I normally do end up sticking when I peel them, but everytime I do eggs in this thing they just come out perfect. I've nervously added more eggs or done less eggs thinking that might mess them up, but it doesn't matter they are perfect every single time.

Most importantly, it makes great rice every time. It isn't too big or too small - just the right size (3 cups). Has pretty much any feature you would ever need in a rice cooker. The hard-boiled egg function works perfectly as well. Very easy to clean. The display is a dark red which I really prefer to super bright displays some appliances have. Extremely easy to use. Perfect for my husband and myself. Left my rice cooker on accidentally on after setting the White Rice cooking mode for over 10 hours! Rice was still fluffy and not crispy or burned! Rice was still warm and at a perfect temperature that my rice was still perfectly good. 100% recommend!! I also cooked black rice on the Brown Rice mode perfectly. You can tell the ceramic bowl was nicely made and has some nice weight to it. True non-stick and super easy to wash, food just tends to slide right off. Recommend for college students that live in dorms since it's nice and a not too small. Nice for cooking a complete meal inside, and the mode buttons are easy to see and use.
