The 30, 45 and 60 degree bias lines are printed in two directions allowing left or right handed use. Two colour grid, so can be used on both light and dark fabrics. Computer generated grid and markings ensure consistant accuracy. Accurate 1/8" marking.

I have a few quilting rulers and this one is the one I use most often.It's very easy to read off, and very clear when lining it up with fabric edges to ensure sharp, precise cutting. I have a few other quilting rulers and they're far too jumbled up with measurements and gauges which are designed, I think, to make measuring easier: but they actually obscure the fabric beneath, making it much more difficult to line up and cut.I've been using my ruler most days now for ten months or so and it still looks like new: it doesn't seem to have scratched or worn at all, and its size makes it easy to cut all sorts of widths and shapes.Stick with this brand when buying quilting rulers, if you can: and if you do consider other makes, make sure they're not printed too heavily or are coloured, which will make it more difficult to use. I bought this with the Le Summit 6 x 24 ruler. I needed them for a patchwork workshop. They are good quality at a fair price. They did the trick............... but I've decided patchwork isn't for me.The rulers have been useful for drawing posters and banners. They are easy to clean.
