To be totally transparent, I take 2000mg extended release metformin a day. My fasting glucose is about 120-130 in the morning, but after only a 20 carb meal, spikes up to the 180 range. Taking one of these berberine and a Ceylon cinnamon capsule before each meal seems to hold it around 150 for the next hour or so. I wasn't getting that with the cinnamon alone. I'm pleasantly surprised. Everyone is different of course.
