My son is 5 months but wears 9-12mo clothing. He is 18 lbs and really long. So as far as length and a swaddle like fit, this is a great product. The fabric is stretchy and clings. The knot can be heavy and bulky. I am taking these to a tailor and adding a zipper to the front (neck to chest) for easy over the head.
