It is designed for the pickup while utilizing all the best features of the HD series. Built into a smaller compact version, the Titanium Series offers flow rates up to 220gph. Fass has a patented process that removes air/vapor with one efficient method while our competitor uses two methods. The Fass process allows for more consistent fuel pressure to be maintained while providing the ability to use more of the fuel filter capacity than our competitor. The use of two methods with the competitors product shortens the useable life of the low quality fuel filter while fuel pressure drops quicker.This is due to the simple fact that the air is bled off on the dirty side of the fuel filter, causing an undesirable loss in fuel pressure as the filter clogs. Some things I saw specific to my 2008 duramax - the suction line is above the front of the tank, and is rubber hose towards the passenger side (tank side) and metal on the engine side. The clip fitting on it doesn't need a special tool to unlock, it just has a red clip you push from behind forward to disconnect it. The instructions say mount it to the first bed bolt, but because of the routing of the filler hose, this will make it stick about 4-6 inches below the fender. I mounted it to the second bed bolt, and was able to get it up to where it is barely seen. The bracket mounted this way does stick out and might get hit by the tire if it bottoms out. Also my Duramax had a separate return line that was 1/2 inch. I tapped into this using a 3/4 pex tee (only tee I could find at Home Depot that would fit). Be sure to look at the diesel wiring schematic, as the owner's manual will steer you to the wrong tap point. Also be very cautious tightening the downstream side line to the AN fitting. It is located right above the aluminum fitting for the return line. It can be easily nicked with a wrench when tightening it Overall very pleased with its performance so far, and now I can ignore that stupid worthless priming pump that it came with! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars Well Put Together package,everything you need...Awesome Product!!! *by G***G on Reviewed in the United States on July 29, 2019* Install went per instructions, and the only hiccup for me was the rust around the fuel line disconnects over the years that accumulated making it take longer to get the lines separated.The filters shown in the ad are not the same ones,they have been updated to filters that do not have water drain cocks. Had it been more clear, I would have routed fuel lines differently. Worked great after only a few seconds of priming.
