I suffer from mild Reynaud's Syndrome and Bar Mitts are the solution to winter road rides. They act as mini-fairings to keep the wind off. I use the large size although I'm lightly built which allows easy hands on/off access to the bars. I'm not worried about a bit more cold air maybe coming back in through the larger opening. I can now wear much lighter gloves with a more dextrous feel on the controls than the huge, baggy ski-glove type winter riding gloves I used to use. Those bigger gloves were never enough on their own to keep my fingers warm in freezing conditions anyway, even with glove liners. The bar mitts only take 30 seconds each to pop on and off. They do basically limit your hands to one position only (on top of the hoods) but that's a minor complaint. I guess they're reasonably heavy being neoprene but if you suffer from cold hands you won't be worrying about a few extra grams in exchange for the comfort. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ 4.0 out of 5 stars Really warm but a little tight.
