There is no way of returning or getting refund. **update** I contacted Amazon which felt harder and longer than it should ever take for my type of situation. They issued a replacement but it is still only getting two more stars. My experience with this particular brand of Miso is that the color and taste are quite inconsistent. You get dramatically different taste, richness and color even when expiration date is the similar. Almost like the difference between yellow/red and white miso.
