I’ve had 2 meniscus surgeries. I have been taking turmeric to help the frequent pain. It helped some, but I hoped to alleviate the pain completely. Research led me to try collagen. Further research and Amazon reviews led me to try this product. Collagen, with these types included, reportedly helps gut health too. I read some reviews online that some had even lost some weight using this product. I can stand to lose some pounds too, plus improve my gut health. I realize that supplements generally take time to show results. I’ve only been taking this for about 5 days as of this writing. Perhaps it’s a placebo effect, but I do believe that my appetite is somewhat suppressed. I am not seeing anything yet with improvements in my knees, but I believe it is too early to see results there. This is 2025mg per serving; a lot higher than most I have seen advertised. The recommended dose is 3 capsules per day with 8 ounces of juice or water. If this works as advertised, the price is not all that bad for the 2-month supply. The capsules are not too large (1 pictured atop a US Dime), and they are easy to swallow with no stomach issues. I am still learning about collagen and its benefits, so I will leave this review at that.
