**Q: What can I do to get rid of the strong smell before I help the little girls open them?**
A: I don’t think there is really anything you can do to get rid of the smell. The one I received really didn’t smell that bad. After opening it and getting all the pearls out of it...I did throw it out in its plastic shipping bag and box. I hope that helps.

**Q: Is it real pearls???**
A: Yes of course, they are cultured freshwater pearls. I'm here is a test you can use to determine whether a pearl is real or fake. Take two pearls and rub them together. If they scratch each other, and form a powdery substance that you can wipe off and still see the pearls luster(you may still see a bit of a line where you scratched the pearls together) then it is real. If they slip and slide against each other, very slippery and don't scratch each other, they are fake.

**Q: Can I save the extra one I bought for 8 months or will it expire?**
A: Yes it can keeps for 8 months, but I sugget you store it in the refrigerator until 8 months later.

**Q: Are the pearls artificially dyed?**
A: Yes

Love my oyster & pearls. Was fun to be able to open at home and see all the colors that the pearls were in the shell. Would definitely buy this again!

I had to crush the shell to get them out, but once I made a hole, they all just rolled right out. I broke open the shell anyway to look for them all but I still only got 24 of them. The colors are pretty, but the stain is inconsistent so you can see little spots where it didn't take. It could be fun for a party, but I don't know if I'll buy again.
