My main use for cotton balls is to remove my nail polish and with the larger ones, I feel like I'm not using half the cotton ball (therefore wasting it) but these are the perfect size for me. They also work out fine for using toner on my face. I haven't used them for anything else yet, but they are a good quality cotton ball. I do recommend them if you are okay with them being smaller.
