It blends extremely well and handles smoothies and frozen ingredients without any issues. It’s also very easy to clean, and being dishwasher safe is a big plus. For the performance you get, the price feels very reasonable compared to other blenders in this range. The only minor downside is that it’s a bit large, but it hasn’t been a big deal for us and is easy to store when not in use. Overall, it’s been reliable and powerful, and I’d buy it again.

A: No it’s a thick plastic

**Q: I bought one of these 10 years ago and it just broke yesterday. Is this one good enough to last me another 10 years?**
A: It seems nothing is built to last anymore, this is my 3rd blender in 7 years. It seems sturdy but I wouldn't guarantee 10 years...

**Q: What's the warranty?**
A: Off hand I can't think of it.  It should say toward the bottom of the Amazon page.  I haven't had any problems with mine.

**Q: How tall is the pitcher, separate from the base?**
A: 26.5cm or 10 1/2 in
