They are super easy to use, they stay on very well, and I can not even feel they are there when I wear my rings. They do slide around on the ring and will not stay on the under side of the ring. I frequently have to move it away from the stone and reposition it where it belongs. They also get really dirty looking pretty fast. My husband purchased a beautiful ring for me for Christmas. I had it sized but it still spun on my finger. If I took it down any farther it would not have fit over my knuckle. Also, the band is a very thin 1mm wide. There was a ring guard among the various options that fit nicely. It was easy to put it on and it feels great. As a reference the ring is 6.5 in size and I needed to go down just a smidgen. I would recommend this for thin bands for sure. I do agree with other reviewers that having to purchase several sizes is a pretty nonsensical but the price wasn't bad so I didn't mind too much.
