It has four fan speeds. The lowest speed is very quiet, but still good airflow. The highest speed is louder but also much stronger. The oscillation is super quiet. The remote is easy to use. I'm not wild about the "natural flow" mode, since the fan speeds seem to vary quite a lot. I'm much happier with a consistent airflow. This is being used in a bedroom, to enhance cool airflow while sleeping, and also in a main room. In both applications it works great. It is quiet at night, and helpful and non-distracting during the day. The remote is easy to use, and it is also easy to operate via the touch screen at the top.
