Personally, I find it DELICIOUS. Heat tolerances and reactions will vary, depending on a number of factors. I believe one factor is genetics. I don't detect much heat on the middle or frontal tongue. It's at the back of the tongue for me. I've never had that reaction before. It's a sharp heat but not very strong. It makes my tummy feel very warm and pleasant. Here's where things may seem a little odd unless you understand from your own experience with strong peppers... I get an initial and short-lived stimulant sort of feeling like caffeine, followed by a short-lived relaxation, then followed by a long lasting sense of vibrant health!! Like it's a mini fountain of youth! I've heard that strong peepers have an effect on free testosterone production in some men. This stuff is amazing!! I expected it to be far hotter, but I don't blame the product at all. I think it's down to my own body composition. But when a sauce uplifts you with vitality and it's delicious, who cares about the missing hellish burn? UPDATE: It gets stronger in the fridge overnight once opened and shaken well. It's a bit stronger than the Tabasco brand Scorpion sauce. So it's VERY strong.
