I have been reading conflicting info on whether or not Kelo-Cote was bought by Scar Away, and whether or not the products are from the same manufacturer or different. I am looking for the original brand. **Q: Is Kelo-cote and Scar-Away the same product?** A: Alot of people have said they received a scar away product however I received a kelo-cote product. They are not the same but I'm sure they have similar ingredients. **Q: Does this help with keloid scars?** A: Yes! Big time! It has been literally melting my keloids in front of my eyes. **Q: Will it work on an old keloid scar that i got 3 years ago?I know it can help the newly formed keloid.** A: I do not know for sure. But I recommended this to a teenager who had been bitten in the face by a large dog and had a huge scar that was over 10 years old, and it really helped the scar to recede significantly. I would say it is worth a try and may take a little longer to work. This teenager used it every day a couple of times a day for 2 months, and may still be using it.
