Review: It's been stored well - The chili mac tastes good with slightly better texture than canned soups. Picture shows M&Ms as the dessert, but mine was lifesavers and a cookie. The lifesavers are good, more minty than what I'd find in a store. Kiddo (5) ran off with the cookie and apparently loved it. The cookie is gone and kid is drowsy from the large calorie load compared to her requirements. Personal serving suggestion is to throw the included Jalapeño cheese in the heater with your main for that nacho smell/texture and top your main with that and your crackers. The cracker texture improves the noodles and the crackers need something for flavor. There's red pepper flakes and salt for additional flavor if needed. Make sure to chew your included xylitol gum after your meal, govt cheese will still cause constipation without some stool softening. It's nice gum and you'll be able to poop, what's not to love?

I bought the Chili Mac MRE, which, according to a lot of active and former military service members I know, is the best one out there. I can say I'm not disappointed! There was a lot more food in the package than expected. Everything from the main entree to a vanilla pound cake. Also had coffee and fruit punch mix packets inside. And the flavor is really good! I would highly recommend getting a few of these for any camping trip or the like!

**Q: Does the pack come with the cooking/ warming pouch?**
A: Why sweet lord yes it does. It comes fully packed just like they give em to our brothers and sisters on the field.

**Q: Which mre should i try?**
A: 10/30/18 hurricane Michael government provided MRE’s. Brisket was the best. Very appreciative to the government for feeding us when we literally had nothing.

**Q: are any of these vegeterian**
A: Yes, but I'm not sure exactly which ones. If you google "American MRE 2016 case meals" you'll find a list of all meals as well as which of them are vegetarian (I believe there are 4)

**Q: Do you get everything in the picture? And does the ratatouille taste good?**
