I accidently ripped the old one and was going to repair it but decided to replace instead. I also was going to put this liner on top of the old one but decided to do a complete tear out, resculpturing the walls and reinstalling over a bed of topsoil and sand. Alot of work but very happy with the job. Also put rocks around edge for the flodded look. Excellent liner, very durable, and smells like rubber. Left over material has been trimmed and makes a great tarp. Ten years ago, pre-Amazon I had to drive 150 miles roundtrip to buy this in Pennsylvania. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent Pond Underlayment *by R***R on June 27, 2019* The thickness and padding make this underlayment a must to protect the rubber liner from punctures. I converted an 3500 lbs cement pond with water fall and bird bathes into a pondless waterfall. The underlayment was able to cover seems between clay and remaining cement with only a thin layer of top soil to cover that seem.
