I have 2 small windows in my kitchen and there aren't really blinds or curtains that would work to provide privacy. I've been trying to find film that will allow in light but still provide privacy and this fit the bill. The only downside for this is that there are no instructions provided. However, because I've been searching for a while, I found a video for Gila window film installation and followed those and it worked like a charm for this. Be aware that there IS a backing film on this. It took me about half an hour to cut out the 8 pieces that I needed and get them on the windows. There is a little bit left on the roll and it covered 6 10.5" x 33" and 2 10.5"x37.I work from home, in the downstairs den turned office, and had to keep the curtains pulled for privacy purposes. By the end of my shift I always felt like I'd spent the day in a dungeon. Even though it's an overcast and rainy day my office is brighter than it's ever been and no one can see in the windows.
