## Overview

The fischer DUOPOWER (#10) 5/16" x 1 5/8" Universal Wall Anchor is a high-performance fastening solution featuring a dual-material design that adapts to both solid and hollow building materials. Its slip-resistant edge ensures easy installation without anchor loss, while the engineered expansion mechanism prevents over-tightening. Supplied in a convenient 100-piece pack, it’s perfect for professionals and serious DIYers seeking reliable, versatile wall anchors for drywall, paneling, and solid surfaces.

## Description

The fischer DUOPOWER offers very good hold values as a result of its 2 components: Depending on the building material, the grey components made from high quality nylon automatically activates the optimum product function (expansion, folding, knotting) for the best hold. The expansion wings of the red component support the secure expansion and offer additional security to the grey component. Easy screwing-in of the screw and correct "tightening" to close. No over-tightening of the screw. The pre-shaped edge on the plug head prevents the plug from slipping into the drill hole.

Review: Excellent quality product actually does what it says. - This is by far the best wall anchors I've ever used. Very heavy duty. Even if you drill the pilot hole a bit too small you can still drive this anchor easily into the wall without it bending over on you. I've used several of them so far and no problems whatsoever with them. I highly recommend this product for heavy or lite duty use.
Review: one of the better of this type - For best results do not use for heavier loads. Other wise okay. Opinions may differ on this one but butterfly type toggles are the best for heavy loads

## Features

- Combination of two material components for more performance.
- Secure functions for solid (expansion) and hollow and panel building materials (folding/knotting).
- Easy installation: narrow edge of the plug prevents it from falling deeper into the drill hole.
- Best possible feedback from the anchor - you can feel that the anchor is sitting perfectly.
- Comes with 100 anchors included.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: What is the drill size?**
A: Hi! Thanks for the question. Drill bit size is 5/16" for #10 plug, and you can use screw size 8 - 12.

**Q: Two quest: what screw do i need, i want the rounded phillips head or a flat head only. also i assume the anchor hole is 5/16?**
A: Hi! Yes, correct, for DuoPower #10, the drill bit size should be 5/16" and you can actually use the screw head you prefer depending on your application. This is more driven by the object you need to attach.

**Q: What is the weight max these will hold?**
A: It depends what you install those anchors into!!!
Your question is equivalent to “ how much is a car?”
$15k-5 mil.

**Q: Is this good for lath and plaster walls**
A: Hello! Thanks for the question. plaster wall, aka drywalls, yes, definitely.

On lath could be a little loose and therefore we have no recommended loads published, although it has been used.
