Review: Works for the Surface Generation 1! - I have a first Generation Surface 2 in 1 tablet laptop. The cord that I got with it had a short, and was falling apart. It finally stopped charging my laptop. When I found this replacement I was a little worried it wouldn't be compatible or it wouldn't work. But it works great! Connected via the magnetic port and completely charged my device. I also like that the cord is all in 1, and seems more durable than the original cord. All in all, I highly reccomend this as your replacement or backup cord for compatible devices!

Worked well! The light turned on when it was charging. Charged fairly fast, no issues. This works with the Surface RT, which is an older model, so make sure you are really examining the way the charger connects to make sure it will match your computer/tablet. Good cord length, smooth appearance.
