My cats fur is very soft he has no teeth problems and he has no problems eating consistently with this food. It doesn’t seem to be as processed as many other brands. I highly recommend this product. Review: My rescue-kitty LOVES it, and she now looks AMAZING and is very healthy, strong, and active. - I just finished writing a review for the canned cat food in the same brand, so some of my review will be repeated, as far as results, etc. My kitty absolutely LOVES this food, and she is pretty finicky. I started her on Hill's Science Diet canned food, but honestly, I think she'd rather starve than eat that! I had to give that away rather than just continuing to throw away the un-eaten portion (90% of it) , She also got Nutro All-Natural dry food and liked that okay but definitely likes this better. She is just over 5 months old, so she gets this food in unlimited amount (as much as she wants, always available) along with about 1/3 of a 6-oz can twice daily of Natural Balance canned food Natural Balance Canned Cat Food, Ultra Formula, 24 x 6 Ounce Pack Since switching from previous food (Hills Science DIet canned kitten food and Nutro Natural dry kitten food) her coat has gotten shinnier/glossier - just silky and so plush, she is lean and PURE muscle (heavier than she looks and SO strong!), very, very active, and vet said she looks amazing! (she is a rescue kitten, having been left at our local pound at about 2 weeks old, without her mother.... GRRrr!! She came very close to being euthanized... Thank goodness for our local cat-rescue shelter!) She had to be bottle-fed for several weeks - one of her litter-mates didn't survive). Now she looks (and obviously feels) GLORIOUS, and I am SO happy to have found this food that she adores, and that is high-quality and GREAT for her, without being terribly overpriced! HIGHLY recommended! It is a bit more expensive than some other foods, but looking at her level of health, high activity level, and beautiful coat, I think it is worth it. I was hesitant to try this food, since it doesn't specifically say "formulated for kittens" (it does say it meets the nutritional needs of cats at all ages/life-stages) but it is definitely helping her grow strong and healthy. And I LOVE LOVE LOVE having it delivered free in 2 days! (Prime) UPDATE: Our kitten is about 6 months old now, and though I've had cats all my life, I have NEVER had a cat as STRONG and muscular as this one, and I believe much of that is due to this food being so superior to previous foods I have fed other cats. Tinkerbell is incredibly active and healthy! ## Features - CHICKEN MEAL IS THE FIRST INGREDIENT providing essential protein and amino acids to help maintain strong muscles; Brown rice is included as a healthy and rich source of fiber for digestive health; Contains (1) 6-Pound Bag - ORIGINAL ULTRA FORMULA PHILOSOPHY A holistic approach to your cat's well-being; from helping to strengthen their immune system to supporting their brain development with key nutrients, these premium cat foods care for the whole body from head to tail. - NUTRIENTS FROM OUR ULTRA CHICKEN RECIPE crafted with nutritious ingredients such as chicken meal, and brown rice; Complete and balanced with essential nutrients to help maintain your cat's healthy immune system - NUTRITION FOR EVERY TYPE OF CAT Any cat can enjoy our delicious recipes, not just cats with sensitive stomachs, irritable skin or allergies; Our purposefully crafted formulas reduce the number of ingredients without sacrificing taste or nutrition - SAFETY & TRANSPARENCY Natural Balance's 'Feed with Confidence' program tests every batch of food from start to finish, ensuring safety with every bite; Validate bag on our site or call our Customer Care Team of Registered Veterinary Technicians ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B0CQ3S8MXD | | Additional Features | Providing essential protein and amino acids to help maintain strong muscles, This premium cat food care for the whole body from head to tail. | | Age Range (Description) | All Life Stages | | Age Range Description | All Life Stages | | Animal Food Ingredient Claim | No Added Antibiotics | | Animal Food Nutrient Content Claim | High Protein | | Best Sellers Rank | #10,356 in Pet Supplies ( See Top 100 in Pet Supplies ) #275 in Dry Cat Food | | Brand | Natural Balance | | Brand Name | Natural Balance | | Breed Recommendation | All Breed Sizes | | Container Type | Bag | | Customer Reviews | 4.5 out of 5 stars 807 Reviews | | Dog Breed Size | All | | Flavor | Chicken Meal & Salmon Meal | | Item Form | Dry Kibble | | Item Weight | 6 pounds | | Manufacturer | Natural Balance Pet Foods, Inc. | | Manufacturer Part Number | 723633014861-f | | Model Number | 723633014861-f | | Number of Items | 1 | | Occasion | Birthday | | Pet Type | Dog | | Product Benefits | Complete and balanced for kittens to adult cats, Made with wholesome grains like brown rice and oat groats to help support healthy digestion | | Special Ingredients | Chicken Meal, Salmon Meal, Chicken Liver, Menhaden Oil, Dried Cranberries, Dried Kelp, Dried Blueberries, L-Lysine Monohydrochloride Special Ingredients Chicken Meal, Salmon Meal, Chicken Liver, Menhaden Oil, Dried Cranberries, Dried Kelp, Dried Blueberries, L-Lysine Monohydrochloride See more | | Specific Uses For Product | Digestive Health | | Target Species | Cat | | UPC | 723633014861 | | Unit Count | 96 Ounce | ## Product Details - **Age Range (Description):** All Life Stages - **Brand:** Natural Balance - **Flavor:** Chicken Meal & Salmon Meal - **Item Form:** Dry Kibble - **Specific Uses For Product:** Digestive Health ## Images ![Original Ultra, Dry Cat, Chicken Meal & Salmon Meal, 6 lb - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/81sf-XJvwlL.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Size, Flavor** options. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great cat food *by K***N on August 6, 2026* I’ve been using this product now for over two years.
