We have had to keep our doors and windows closed for years even when it's nice outside because it's so annoying. I put off buying one of these because I honestly didn't think it would work. I finally gave in and gave it a try. Wish I would have done it sooner. I set it on the highest setting and I hung it from a tree as close to their yard as I could, but probably still close to the max range of 50'. The first time they came out, I heard a couple barks and then silence. Unbelievable.I have heard them a couple times in the past few days since I hung it when something really sets them off but nothing like it was before. I would definitely recommend this product.
