These are round pods and go into a piece that is made to use the pods on your machine. Mine has a double pod piece as well for very strong expresso. The are not compatible with with other types of machines. **Q: Will these work with my vintage Francis! Francis! espresso machine?** A: Works with Francis Francis X5. **Q: Will these work in the Keurig Rivo?** A: Not familiar with Keurig but if uses pods for espresso these Lavazza are Pods that can be used on any machine. The problem is that I would suggest not to buy Lavazza because espresso it's not creamy at all, for us Italian it's a must having creamy espresso. I use Bialetti capsules but if you'd like good pods espresso you should check on Isomac Motta espresso pods, they make smooth creamy espresso.
