This is a lovely book with excellent photographs and good instructions but it didn't come with a resource guide.  i hate that.  i need to know where to buy the supplies that are needed with each project.other than that, it is a nice book and i would recommend it.

I'm really not sure why this book has gotten poor reviews. Yes, it might be nice if the creator's name was attached to the item but this was hardly crucial. I actually enjoyed guessing if I picked the right artist! And these artists are some of my favorites. I found each and every creation exquisite and could not have asked for more. Perhaps the exact items and directions are not mentioned but I think this book should be used for a starting point for your own creations. I personally thought I got more than enough directions and I am certainly a neophyte in this area. I love it. I bought it despite negative reviews and each and every page is surely a "jewel" in its' own right.

I purchased this book for two reasons, I was hoping for some instruction on building the foundations of crowns and the pictures I saw were inspiring. I read a couple of reviews and bought the book.Yes, the pictures are lovely, but I found little in the way of solid instruction and no little tit bits of knowledge passed on from the experienced makers in the book. Lucky for me, I am an experienced crafter. I ended up laying the book aside and figuring it out myself. I found the book rather boring.
