Unfortunately, whilst the time telling has been excellent, the alarm would go off before the actual set time however the vendor was extremely good at replacing, checking that the new one was working correctly prior to sending. The product now does exactly as it is supposed to and is a very good aid in teaching children how to tell the time quickly. The blue for my son and green for my daughter. This one seems to be a fake. The green one is quiet and it illuminates without light. The blue clock ticks away like nobody's business and can be heard down the hall. I was also disappoint to find that despite buying the same clock, this clock does not illuminate in the dark.
