Data sheet info for these products differ nominally, in that the 222 specs are stated for fasteners that are .25" or smaller in diameter and the 222ms data sheet refers to fasteners of .375". Both are designed to be removed with hand tools using 60 in/lbs. of force or less. I utilise 222 for attaching scope bases and rings to my various hunting rifles and pistols.....ranging from .22 up to 45/70. I've never had an issue with these fasteners backing out as a result of recoil, or during normal usage. For all intents and purposes, they appear to be interchangeable with range of temperature, break free resistance, and most other technical specs being virtually identical. I chose 222 because it is more readily available at my local hardware store. Your pretty much right on the money estimate wise, however you may get more use out of it than that, as some screws are much smaller and a smaller amount of glue can do the job. Usually in applying the glue I'll take a toothpick and put a very tiny amount on it, and while wet I'll apply it to whatever I'm gluing. Typically I use much less than a drop when I use it.
