Review: A great replacement for the name brand, and easier on the pocketbook - Great replacement parts for my kitty water fountain. They love their fountain, and I like to keep it clean for them. These replacement filters make it economical to do that. These filters work just as well as the name brand. Water flows just as well through them. When cleaning the water pump sponge, I notice that it stops hair and gunk just as well as the name brand. And these have the little tabs and indents like the name brand, so the easily fit in the machine, making installation a breeze. So far these have been just as good as any of the name brand, and I haven't noticed any difference in strength or durability. I will be ordering them again.

Directions say to rinse both filters off with water before inserting. It’s recommended to change every 2 wks & if you do it every 4 weeks a water film/slim builds up in the water fountain. This box comes with a lot for a great price. No odor with the filters when rinsing & this kit also comes with a small scrub brush that you can use to clean your unit.
