With the amount of these that we have to use for my husband's surgery after care, the packaging is pretty inconvenient. On the other side of the coin, if you don't need several Sponges then having more than 2 would be inconvenient. I couldn't believe how expensive they were at the local discount box store - so I checked on here and saw that these had 2 sponges per pack and 100 packs per box at an amazing price. I haven't been disappointed, they work perfectly fine for what I am using them for. However, I don't know about the 2 sponges per pack claim. It doesn't look like 2 sponges to me. To be honest, they're actually pretty skimpy and thin to even count as 1 sponge. But like I said, they're good for covering a wound or incision and protecting it from chafing by clothing or compression belts, but I wouldn't use one for cleaning a wound or other purposes of that sort, they're pretty rough and have a wide weave so I don't think they'd be good for applying medicine, either.
