It got upset at 3cm. It was constructed as per the instructions with the right size & type of cable, all neat & tidy. Water still got in. It took a while, but it got there. That was only 1 of 4 connectors that leaked, but they all used the same cables, put together in the same way and appeared identical after construction.So I'm a little wary of them Fortunately, RCDs are wonderful things.Marked as 3* as I can't be 100% sure it wasn't me (although I do have a degree in electrical engineering so am not clueless in this area) -but- it still appears better than anything else I've found at being waterproof/portable. There's one with a green rubbery bit rather than red which feels a little more solid, but it's the same manufacturer - the 'to 50m' model - so I'd trust that to 5cm.
