MOLD!! *by H***F on Reviewed in the United States on January 29, 2018* This review deserves zero stars. There should be a choice for zero stars vs being forced to choose one through five. This product isn’t worthy of even one star. I ordered and received 10 boxes (12 bottles inside each box) of this Zico coconut water. I poured my first glass and the water was brown so I opened a second one and the water was brownish, yellow seen in the picture. I then googled to see if this is normal and discovered it was not and was in fact dangerous. I then looked on the label and found the manufacturer’s number and called looking for answers as to why my water was tainted and I was told not to drink it because the discoloration is caused by MOLD!! The expiration date on each bottle is June of 2018 so this should never have happened. I informed him he should do a product recall and asked why Quality control at the manufacturer location was not checking this water prior to shipment. He not only gave me no answer the man I spoke with told me they would not be able to refund for any unopened containers as some may still be viable. I opened 8 while on the phone with him and all were toxic and I told him that since they all came from the same lot number sharing the same expiration date they likely were all filled with mold. He told me their policy is to reimburse for only half the amount. I hung up the phone as he seemed unconcerned with the issue. Thank God for Amazon intervening and reimbursing me for the full amount. This could have made a small unaware child or an elderly person unfamiliar with coloring knowledge very, very sick. Shame on you Zico for your lack of quality control as well as csr. I pray no one ever orders from your company and that you send out a product recall notice. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars Mine was fresh *by K***T on Reviewed in the United States on January 18, 2017* This brand tastes very fresh to me. I could taste an odd flavor in the Coco Vita brand. Vita adds sugar but Zico's only ingredient is coconut water.When you get coconut water without preservatives it can go rancid easily. So always smell and taste it first and refrigerate as soon as it arrives.I like that the containers are small because I've found if I leave a half empty large container out all day it can easily go bad.I've drank a lot of coconut water because I find it helps me with anxiety. If you're into exercise UIm sure this wont effect you, but if you're looking for a healthy drink: beware, this is basically glorified natural sugar water!!! I must admit I bought another case before discovering it.
